(…) Pires let it happen, with apparent ease, long breath, and over all the “acrobatic” of fast notes with clear, round and warm tone. Then there was much more excitement in the soulfulness of the slow movement in Stamitz, the flattering melody in Danzi, and in Weber the coloring in the uncanny (…).
